What is Health Coaching?

A Health Coach IS someone who…

  • Supports and empowers clients by mobilizing internal strengths, external resources, and by developing self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy lifestyle, behavior changes.

  • Honors the fact that each client is an expert on their own life. The client determines their unique goals through a process of self-discovery and accountability.

  • Inspires passion and purpose by exploring values and identifying and building upon your positive assets.

  • Creates a welcoming environment for all people, recognizing that we are all on a unique journey, and meets them where they are, free of judgment.

A Health Coach is NOT…

  • Someone who diagnoses, treats, prescribes, interprets medical results, writes food plans or gives nutritional advice, designs exercise plans, nor recommends or sells supplements.

  • A medical provider, counselor, clinical psychologist, or psychotherapist

Happy Hour

Like any good Happy Hour, it’s not really only an hour!

  • 90min 1-on-1 private session so that you can get a taste of the coaching magic.

  • Onboarding worksheets to be completed prior to your 1-on-1 session. This begins the self-exploration process and helps define our areas of focus.

  • VIA Character Strengths Profile walkthrough and initial strategies you can implement to boost happiness and well-being.

  • Explore practical strategies to curb stress and manage feelings of anxiety.

  • Explore Mind/Body techniques (such as Breathwork, EFT tapping, Meditation, Yoga, etc.)

 

Bring on the Balance

6-week Program to form new habits!

  • (6) weekly 1-on-1 private sessions. Ongoing support helps recognize existing patterns and better ingrains new, healthy lifestyle habits.

  • Initial session 60min, with (5) follow-on sessions lasting 30min each.

  • Onboarding worksheets to be completed prior to your initial session. This begins the self-exploration process and helps define our areas of focus.

  • Email support in between sessions to help you better stay on track, ask questions, share your wins along the way, and learn to ask for support.

  • Multiple resources tailored to your needs and preferred ways of processing information while establishing new habits (weekly exercises, self-assessment tools, journaling activities, etc.)

  • VIA Character Strengths Profile walkthrough and deeper dive into specific strategies that can help buffer stress and promote long-term happiness and well-being.

  • Explore and implement practical strategies to curb stress and manage feelings of anxiety.

  • Explore and implement Mind/Body techniques (such as Breathwork, EFT tapping, Meditation, Yoga, etc.)
